Pakistan Ka Matlab Kya?

There's this old anonymous saying:

"Don't make decisions when you're angry and Don't make promises when you're happy."

According to this great man whom we don't know in reality, We are not suppose to make promises in happiness because we might regret after knowing that we promised more than what we can deliver. Same goes for decisions, we might find them too senile and irrelevant.
You might find this Quote interesting and useful but it has very less to do with what I want to convey, so Please get over it already!!
This is a known and admired fact that reading, writing and staying up to update with what is happening in your surroundings makes you rational and undoubtedly an egg headed, and that isn't a bad thing. But somehow this fact doesn't go well with our Pakistani Society. I believe we are more inclined to conspiracies rather than rational facts and this doesn't come by birth. This is the lesson we learn, instead let me say, this is deliberately taught to us!!
Having an opinion is a healthy practice and is never thought to be a Bad thing. But for no good reason our society is pretty much Opinionated to a disastrous level and I suppose we can call it a bad thing here, Opinions based on False ideas, Moulded facts, Utter lies and Personal assumptions. The theory of  '180 billion leaders' very much fits in here!
Let me make myself more clear starting from a very basic level. We are all aware of the fact that Pakistan was founded on the renowned Two Nation Theory. And there are no doubts about Pakistan being an Islamic state, Our Constitution clearly declares ISLAM as one and only official religion of the State. How can you all forget the all famous slogan; "Pakistan ka Matlab kya, la ilaha illallah" and then there's another Slogan raised by a Media group in their campaign for Promotion of Education in Pakistan that says, "Parhny Likhny Ki Siwa, Pakistani Ka Matlab kya?" which seems offending to most of us.
The Question is how is this Slogan offending? Probable reasons include; It's an open attack on Pakistan's Ideology and few go one to call it an act of Blasphemy. Being said all that I Personally find this slogan Good and don't see any Ideological or Religious issues. Let me make my point of view more clear. Basically Slogans are like Brief introductions of your Campaign and you can't declare them a hard and fast stance, Roti Kapra Aur Makan is one good example of a Slogan. Secondly, How many of you remember the five versus of first revelation? Have you forgotten the first word 'IQRA'? which means 'PARH' in Urdu. This is the importance of Education in Islam and the basic foundation of Pakistan is Islam. To me there's nothing wrong with this slogan esp. when the motive behind is to educate the society and the thought of Ideology being effected by this slogan sounds RIDICOULUS.
This doesn't seem good but it remains a reality that a particular mind set influences masses and spreads disinformation which tend to effect the people with less knowledge and more passion. Blaming them is of no use here, but then again I repeat having an opinion based on someone's lies and false assumptions is not going to pay any Good. The people who spread disinformation and create conspiracies don't believe in Ideology of Pakistan or Islam instead they've their own Slogan: "Pakistan ka Matlab kya? Jo Kujh milay Jaib ich Paa."

It Was Me...

Who liked you?
When your hair will turn into gray glittering hair
When your shiny face will become a dark falling star
When your bright eyes will lose their glamour
When autumn will come in your life
Leaves start falling, grass becomes pale
And when you will look in the mirror
Your tears will also cry with you
Then think for a moment
It was me...
"Who liked you"

The Girl I Dream of..!!

The Girl I Dream of; in Nights and the days
I intend to love her; In a thousand of ways
I wish to have her around; What dusk, What dawn?!
Smiles, Laughs, "Wait and Fight", she says..

The Girl I Dream of; in thin and the thick
Her deep candid eyes; make my universe shrink
Her loud presence; at times, shatters my silence
Body depresses, Movement ceases, Can't even blink.

The Girl I Dream of; in serenity and in discord
In the midst of our hearts, I've wrought an accord
I seek nothing; naught but the pledge thee be mine
Thee be my aide; Solitude is mean, has to be deplored.

The Girl I Dream of, In heaven and in fire
What attracts me is her soul and attire
She is my only hope & beyond lie dark shades
Leads me through hard'n'bad, She is what I desire.

Birthday Confession

Just few Silly lines at the occasion which was supposed to be a Special one;

Behind all these smiles,
There exist the lies,
Truth never expressed,
But, the time still flies!

Hiding things from the ultimate,
What hurts, is the Penultimate,
Disastrous death, day by day,
Moving on, Trusting the fate!

There always comes a time,
When you're no more a Prime,
You lose, or may win, but you survive,
Whatever it takes, just climb!

Educated ? Huh

I don't feel like writing something at the moment. It's not that I am running short of words or thoughts. I haven't wrote anything in like ages due to the prof which is just few days away. I am running short of time so won't be able to complete this post. Just going to outline few things which I've observed in past few weeks and are really disturbing for me. This scenario makes me ask a simple question from every sensible person around, "Where are we heading?"
This is the only generation in the history of Pakistan which claims to be an Educated and awaken one, which I've started doubting about. Because they can't seem to justify their claim of being educated and sensible. Recently I happened to observe few Facebook conversations between the parts of this educated youth, Supporters of two different political parties and they were going mad at each other with no Morality or Rationality. Story of twitter isn't different from this. The worst of all is happening in Real social life. Two close friends going against each other on the basis of the politicial parties they're supporting, Two siblings sharing same roof going mad over each other due to difference of opinion and leaders. Same goes in education institutes and universities which is a very alarming situation.
Supporting a political party or having a different opinion is not an issue. These phenomenon has been around for ages. What worries me is 'the way we are Expressing' ourselves. We have been feed with some non sense 'Freedom of Speech and Expression' theories. No doubt it exist but where is our Religion, Culture, Norms and Traditions? Where did the elements of Morality, Respect and Discipline go? If you know no such things and claim to be an Educated and awaken young blood of Pakistan, then I don't agree with you. For me or maybe for many others, You are like an Unguided arrow and Uncontrolled Missile who is himself unaware of his fate.
I don't want to offend the readers but for me, Presence of such type of people justifies the kind of leadership and rulers we have. If we didn't change this Attitude then I wonder that time is not far away when this country will suffer due to this so called 'Educated Youth' and I pray such time never comes.

Regards,
And Please Wish me Luck for my Exams.

An Encounter With Sheikh Rasheed

Couple of days ago, I had this interesting encounter with Sheikh Rasheed Ahmad, The Famous Politician from my own city Rawalpindi. I use to Like him a lot but then with the rise of PTI things changed dynamically and everything other than PTI was secondary to me. In all these times, I never thought about
discussing Sheikh Rasheed. But Now after August 13th, I was more inclined towards Sheikh Rasheed because his alliance with PTI is imminent atleast at his stage.

So in this encounter, I started with welfare projects that he started in his tenure. He did ask
for suggestion and appreciated me for praising his goods projects. But my real tool was criticism,
I expressed myself openly and that with proper stats and names (Politicians as well as Journalists). And
Interestingly he spoke bluntly without hiding anything as it was an off the record conversation. I
noticed he gets hyper too quickly and seldom controls his anger. He asked my opinion regarding general
perception about his politics in young ones which i shared without any hesitation. Anyways the best part
happened at the end when he asked me to re introduce myself, educational background and political
affiliation. I did that and I was surprised when he offered me to work with his Team in coming election
campaign, With primarily focusing on Local youth and Cyber/Social Media. As its my Prof coming up and my top most priority is studies so I told him I will decide later and if I wanted, I might join you in November after I am done with my Exams.

Eid or No Eid

Let me start with a very simple question, What is Eid-Ul-Fitr ? We all know what it is, Right ? Isn't it a Joyous Celebration related to one's religion and faith, Muslims to be precise. In my opinion Faith and Religion is a very personal matter of Person and must not be questioned in any condition.

Our country is like an oil tank, you just have to lit a fire, then Just stay back and watch what happens. This is our biggest negative as a Nation and our enemies exploit it by promoting Sectarianism on such sacred occassions. If one part or lets say a Group of our society wants to celebrate their Religious Happiness one day earlier than the state then we must not have any problem with this. I mean why should we care? They're celebrating it B'coz they have interpreted their religion this way. If they want to skip a fast or two then we must not make it a National issue. This is purely Religious matter and everyone is responsible for his/her deeds and will be held responsible for them on the day of Judgment. The only thing we should do is create awareness and spread the knowledge and shall pray for them. Taking discussions to the next serious level and Heating things up will be of no use. We as a Nation are already divided in too many groups. Divisions on the basis of Colour, Sect, Language, Region, Province, Caste, Creed and thousands many. Aren't we Muslims and Pakistani first and we have freedom of speech and actions.

My Request to a sane would be, Just avoid creating unnecessary Issues. There is no reason to fight a battle with them on this issue.

Stay Blessed everyone and please accept my Eid Greetings whenever you decide to Celebrate..:)
