Pakistan Ka Matlab Kya?

There's this old anonymous saying:

"Don't make decisions when you're angry and Don't make promises when you're happy."

According to this great man whom we don't know in reality, We are not suppose to make promises in happiness because we might regret after knowing that we promised more than what we can deliver. Same goes for decisions, we might find them too senile and irrelevant.
You might find this Quote interesting and useful but it has very less to do with what I want to convey, so Please get over it already!!
This is a known and admired fact that reading, writing and staying up to update with what is happening in your surroundings makes you rational and undoubtedly an egg headed, and that isn't a bad thing. But somehow this fact doesn't go well with our Pakistani Society. I believe we are more inclined to conspiracies rather than rational facts and this doesn't come by birth. This is the lesson we learn, instead let me say, this is deliberately taught to us!!
Having an opinion is a healthy practice and is never thought to be a Bad thing. But for no good reason our society is pretty much Opinionated to a disastrous level and I suppose we can call it a bad thing here, Opinions based on False ideas, Moulded facts, Utter lies and Personal assumptions. The theory of  '180 billion leaders' very much fits in here!
Let me make myself more clear starting from a very basic level. We are all aware of the fact that Pakistan was founded on the renowned Two Nation Theory. And there are no doubts about Pakistan being an Islamic state, Our Constitution clearly declares ISLAM as one and only official religion of the State. How can you all forget the all famous slogan; "Pakistan ka Matlab kya, la ilaha illallah" and then there's another Slogan raised by a Media group in their campaign for Promotion of Education in Pakistan that says, "Parhny Likhny Ki Siwa, Pakistani Ka Matlab kya?" which seems offending to most of us.
The Question is how is this Slogan offending? Probable reasons include; It's an open attack on Pakistan's Ideology and few go one to call it an act of Blasphemy. Being said all that I Personally find this slogan Good and don't see any Ideological or Religious issues. Let me make my point of view more clear. Basically Slogans are like Brief introductions of your Campaign and you can't declare them a hard and fast stance, Roti Kapra Aur Makan is one good example of a Slogan. Secondly, How many of you remember the five versus of first revelation? Have you forgotten the first word 'IQRA'? which means 'PARH' in Urdu. This is the importance of Education in Islam and the basic foundation of Pakistan is Islam. To me there's nothing wrong with this slogan esp. when the motive behind is to educate the society and the thought of Ideology being effected by this slogan sounds RIDICOULUS.
This doesn't seem good but it remains a reality that a particular mind set influences masses and spreads disinformation which tend to effect the people with less knowledge and more passion. Blaming them is of no use here, but then again I repeat having an opinion based on someone's lies and false assumptions is not going to pay any Good. The people who spread disinformation and create conspiracies don't believe in Ideology of Pakistan or Islam instead they've their own Slogan: "Pakistan ka Matlab kya? Jo Kujh milay Jaib ich Paa."

Imran Khan and The Lethargic Youth

Disclaimer : This Piece is written purely with political intentions and has nothing to do with extra social ranting/criticism and shall not be taken in that context.

It is said that an army of jackal lead by a lion has better abilities of Performing in any given situation when compared to an army of lion lead by a jackal. In my opinion its is safe to apply this to Imran Khan's Change team. Lets be more specific, By using jackal, I am actually referring to our awaken pro-active (not) youth. I don't want to exaggerate or underrate them all but its the Bitter truth and we should face it.

We all know that our beloved motherland has always been under military control (direct or indirect). Being a democratic country, Pakistan is suppose to be ruled by Democrats and Politicians. Whenever they are Blamed for current disastrous situation of Pakistan, the argument of Military Rule is frequently used by these Politicians who have been ruling us for ages, inheriting their political legacy from generation to generation. By plotting such scenarios they (politicians and establishment) try to prove that The Slogan of CHANGE as Raised By IMRAN KHAN Is Immature in itself. The general public and the conservative analyst seem to disagree with them on this and the Liberals go otherwise.

Imran Khan's Slogan is truly based on the ground realities and is according to the sentiments of the public. He, himself and his party, Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaaf, both are enjoying the appreciation for their stance from all classes of society. Before speculating about the success of IK and PTI, we should consider the support Imran Khan has and are they powerful enough to exercise their fundamental right and bring this dream of change into a reality ?

Most of people reading this post will shout Yes We Can !!!
They are all right on their places but I have many doubts. Why do I have so many doubts ? The Simple Answer is Our Lethargic Youth.

Let me put it in another way. We can clearly see the massive support Imran Khan has across the Internet world and the Social media (Facebook, twitter etc). Millions active members and followers but we must remember few things; Not every Pakistani is on the place where you are. Try to Perceive things their way. The least we can do and we should had done was to Register the unregistered vote. Stats show previously it was 35-37 Million unregistered voters. On Imran Khan's Petition supreme court directed Nadra to register votes of these 35 million voters. Now the window of registering new votes has been closed, We are still left with 16 Million unregistered voters, Most of them are self claimed awaken and educated young men.

I really don't favour blaming our youth for any of this. They are inexperienced and they need constant guidelines. They were intentionally kept this way, Just because our rulers never were, and are still not ready to hand over this system to them no matter how well deserving they are. They always have plans of exporting fully furnished Born in Pakistan and Raised in USA/UK leaders to rule on us. But not this time !!
IMRAN Khan has sent a clear message that We Defy You, We will not accept this slavery anymore. Being his supporters we should realize the importance of this short time we are left with and should come hard on our opponents.

Just Remember its NOW or NEVER.

Regards,
ZQ.

How Do I Take On Life

I am a prospective youth of this country - Imaginative, practical, outspoken, impulsive, patriotic, and capable of rational thinking.
To me, it seems that frustration, corruption, hypocrisy, lawlessness, insecurity, and insincerity have run deep down into our roots to such an extent that at times I wonder if ever we be able to uproot these evils or not ?
My fellows and friends says that I should not worry about such things and instead, should pay more attention to my studies.

They are all right but isn't the environment in which we live, a part of our education? We learn from our surroundings and cannot remain indifferent to the events taking place around us. In the years to come, we will become adult citizens; we will become a part of different institutions and be very much a part of the system in the broader sense.
In current scenario, we as a nation, are suffering from moral deterioration. We have forgotten  our values and have indulged in malpractices of all sorts.

The bitter truth is that we care so much for our false pride and ego that we have become blind towards our flaws and shortcomings.
